Joachim Schmid's medium is 'found photography'.
He picks up discarded pictures on the street, often torn and trodden on, and presents them as mysterious works of art.
Sometimes he re-presents these pictures as if they are lost classics by such well-known photographers as Ansel Adams and August Sander.
